Our Mission
Fill-A-Need Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of Fill-A-Need Foundation is to support adults with Autism and other special needs by identifying, nurturing, and developing each adult’s individual potential.

Fill-A-Need Foundation strongly believes that a happy, secure, and nurturing environment opens doors for positive development and the full potential of every individual. Having the opportunity to follow your passions and have choices in your journey through life is the foundation for happiness and success.
Our Vision
Fill-A-Need Foundation is passionate and dedicated to creating a secure future for adults with Autism and other special needs. The vision is to bridge all the gaps that exist in the lives of these adults and the community. As they become adults, there is a gap that prevents them from taking the next step toward an independent successful future. Fill-A-Need Foundation is dedicated to bridging this gap by providing each adult a program that offers the proper support and training that will become a transition to a next step in each individual’s life.
Katie's Story
Katie Cancro is an architect and a mother of a son with Autism. When her son was four years old she learned the brutal truth that a future for her son with Autism did not exist. Knowing the abilities and capability that her son possesses, made it clear a future had to be built, for him and thousands like him. Fill-A-Need Foundation is a volunteer based organization. The team is comprised of teachers, professionals, and parents of children with Autism and other special needs. They are passionate individuals that have been inspired by Katie’s story, and are dedicated and driven to develop programs for adults with Autism and other special needs.
